Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based psychotherapy with growing evidence of rapid improvement of symptoms for a variety of mental health conditions. It is different than traditional "talk therapy", utilizing eye movements similar to the evidence-based trauma therapy, EMDR. With ACT, it is even possible to address and resolve an issue without needing to share specific details with your therapist. Noticeable and lasting symptom reduction and improvement in wellbeing can often be achieved within a few sessions.
I assist professional helpers to improve their current and long-term wellbeing by assisting in identifying, mitigating and managing the cumulative stresses of your profession. This is a collaborative process and is as varied as the individuals receiving it, with an emphasis on your provider understanding the realities of your experiences to provide meaningful support. I am also currently being trained as a Certified First Responder Counselor and regularly receive continuing education on supporting the unique needs of responders.
